Owner Joe Nix began his journey when he played an instrumental role in founding Barn Door Dudes a high-end, woodworking company based in Carlsbad, California. As the Barn Door Dude's COO and head artisan, he honed his skills during custom projects and installations for high-end cliental. Nix's strive for perfection has landed his work in the homes, offices, and headquarters of myriad CEO's, World Champion athletes, Olympic medalists, Super Bowl champions, and A-list actors, celebrities, and music icons. His efforts earned cameo appearances on several of America's favorite shows, before he brought his talents to the Greater Triangle Area to work on HGTV's Love it or List it where he was Project Manager for dozens of screen worthy remodels and built furniture fit for such spaces. Nix Industries is the accumulation of his wide skill set, notoriety, and personal goals to bring people's dreams to life.
